When to visit the Baltics?
The Baltic States are characterized by a Nordic climate, with frequent snowfall during the winter and a cool climate during the summer, which at these latitudes can be affected by frequent rainfall. For lovers of winter landscapes, autumn and winter offer romantic glimpses but temperatures can be quite cold (average around -2 degrees in winter). Certainly the best seasons for walks and excursions remain spring and summer (summer average 21 degrees) (from the end of April to September).
Is it worth visiting the Baltics?
The Baltic countries surprise tourists with their great variety cultural, linguistic, culinary that distinguish them.
Although they may seem like entities small and uniform, they represent 3 completely distinct cultures, with their own language and sensitivity; with marked differences.
Their capitals are cities ancient, rich in history and with ancient and modern architecture, fused together with harmonious simplicity.
The Baltic countries have a history full of culture, with influences that have enriched it over the centuries. In the Baltics next to wonderful nature you can find the most beautiful architecture disparate: medieval castles, fortresses, wooden villages, manors, religious and pagan monuments.
