Is it worth visiting the Caucasus?

The Caucasus is a magnificent region geographically located on the border between Europe and Asia. The countries that compose it have a thousand-year history, the richness of which goes hand in hand with the strategic importance that has always characterized this region. A tour of the Caucasus is a journey back in time, to discover fascinating atmospheres against the backdrop of ancient rock carvings, caravanserais of the Silk Road, monasteries and medieval churches. The Caucasus is historically the region that started wine production and the gentle hilly landscapes are still covered in endless vineyards. The naturalistic and architectural wonders of the region will pleasantly accompany your tour of the Caucasus through Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia, splendid pearls of this magnificent region, with so much to offer but still little known.

Trip to the Caucasus, visiting Georgia

Georgia is a splendid and fascinating country in the heart of the Caucasus, on the border line that separates Europe and Asia. Georgia is famous for its natural landscapes, characterized by large wooded areas and picturesque mountains, but also for the architectural beauties resulting from the centuries-old history of the Georgian people. A trip to Georgia will not leave you indifferent. A tour of Georgia is both the opportunity to discover its architectural and historical riches and the possibility to come into contact with a people who consider hospitality sacred. It is no coincidence that in Tbilisi, the Georgian capital, the famous Mother of Georgia monument is was erected to celebrate hospitality and friendship. A trip to Georgia is definitely a strong sensory experience. The Gorgia is renowned for its fruit and its wines, which enrich a very varied and interesting gastronomic tradition. Georgia is still rather unknown to international tourism, but it has all it takes to guarantee a fulfilling trip full of positive emotions.

Trip to the Caucasus, visiting Armenia

Armenia is a small nation in the Caucasus located at the crossroads of Asia and Europe. Mass tourism has not yet reached these lands where the natural wonders of its landscapes are intertwined with splendid medieval architecture. Armenian architectural heritage is strongly linked to Christianity. Armenia is in fact one of the most ancient Christian nations in the world. the Armenian church in fact dates back to 301 AD. and left a rich legacy' to today's Armenian artistic and architectural heritage. A trip to Armenia is all this: faith, discovery, history, landscapes, architecture, good food and a hospitable people who will not do never miss his smile on the visitor.

Trip to the Caucasus, visiting Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan is located in the Caucasus, overlooking the Caspian Sea. Nicknamed "Land of Fire",  although still little known it is certainly one of the countries that know how to offer strong and authentic experiences to their visitors. Starting from its splendid capital, Baku, a city fortified by a medieval wall. Next to its historic center you can admire today a series of contemporary buildings that denote a push towards modernity towards which the country is tending. Azerbaijan has an enviable tourist offer based on its natural landscapes ranging from the peaks of the Caucasus to the beaches of the Caspian. Azerbaijan is a country rich in culture, with numerous UNESCO World Heritage sites. In recent years, Azerbaijan has engaged in the organization of international events, one above all the Formula 1 Grand Prix which is held on the street circuit within the capital Baku itself. We can therefore undoubtedly say that Azerbaijan is a tourist destination that offers a lot to every type of traveller.
