1 day
Meeting with the guide and driver in Ulan Bataar (Ulaanbaatar).
Move towards Mandal Gobi (about 260 km) and visit Baga Gazriin Chuluu, a granite rock formation that rises in the middle of vast plains. In the 19th century two venerated monks lived here in the ger, the remains of their cave drawings can be found in the area. Stop at the Deer Stones. Lunch along the way. Visit to the Delgeriin Choiriin monastery, destroyed in the 1930s, now restored. We continue our journey towards southern Mongolia. Arrival at Tsagaan Suvraga.
It's interesting to see the sheer slope, facing east, 30 meters deep and 100 meters wide. Over thousands of years the wind created this amazing structure. Walk and free time.

2 day
Breakfast. Transfer to Dalanzadgad. Hike to Yolyn Am Canyon (Eagle Plain). Yolyn Am is a wonderfully picturesque place, frozen even in summer and surrounded by sheer rock walls that form incredible canyons. These areas are located in the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park which includes the peaks of the "Three Beauties" and the easternmost points of the Altai Mountains. Walking tour of Yolyn Am. Visit the local museum. Lunch. Transfer west across the desert to the Khongoryn sand dunes. Camp accommodation.
Dinner and overnight at the camp.

3 day
Breakfast. Visit Khongoryn Els Dunes, called The Singing Dunes which represent the most important sand conglomerate of the Gobi Gurvan Saïkhan National Park. Its area extends for more than 900 m2.
Lunch. Visit to a family of camel breeders. Camel ride. Transfer to Bayanzag, the land of dinosaurs known as Flaming Cliffs, where the first nest of dinosaur eggs was found in 1922. The famous site is famous for the remains of dinosaurs that lived here 60 million years ago. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

4 day
After breakfast we continue to explore Bayanzag. We move towards central Mongolia, until we reach the Saikhan Ovoo Ongi temple. Packed lunch along the way. Visit the ruins of Ongi Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in the desert, built more than 200 years ago, located on the bank of the Ongi River. Arrival at the camp.

Breakfast. Transfer to Kharakorum. Lunch along the way. Visit to Shankh Monastery. Arrival in Kharakorum. Visit one of the largest monasteries in Mongolia, Erdene Zuun, founded in 1586. Visit the Kharakorum Museum, to learn more about the history of the Mongolian Empire and the importance that the Karakorum had in its growth, being not only the capital of the vast Mongol Empire, but the epicenter of trade along the entire Silk Road. Visit the local market and walk around the surroundings.

6 day ​
Breakfast. Traveling to Ulan Bataar. Along the way, visit Khogno Khaan mountains. This area represents a unique picture of the natural contrasts that unite the Mongolian Gobi Desert and Hangaj landscapes. Visit the ruins of the local monastery, Ovgon Khiid. Walk on the sand dunes, Elsen Tasarhai. Lunch.
Transfer to admire the wild Takhi-Przewalski horses that have lived in the area since 1993, when they were reintroduced to their homeland. Here you can spot and photograph these splendid animals. Visit to the Moltsog Els sand dunes. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
7 day
Breakfast. Transfer to Chingis Khan Statue Complex, about 65 km from Ulaanbaatar. It's the largest equestrian statue in the world, erected in Mongolia. The route continues to Gokhi-Terelj National Park. Visit to the Turtle Rock. Visit the picturesque Aryapala Buddhist meditation center. From here, behind you, a picturesque natural landscape opens up. Visit to a nomadic family. Lunch. Horseback riding. Transfer to the camp, dinner and overnight stay.
8 day
Breakfast. Ulaanbaatar City Tour with Visit to Zaisan Memorial Monument. It is a masterpiece of socialist realism, located on a panoramic point over the city and the surrounding hills. Visit Zanabazar Fine Arts Museum which displays a splendid collection of paintings, bas-reliefs and sculptures, including many works by the famous sculptor Zanabazar. Visit to the Winter Palace of Bogd Khan. Following in the second part of the city tour: visit the Gandan Khid monastery, the most largest and most towering city of Ulaanbaatar, home to Mongolia's Buddhist spiritual leader. Its name means "wonderful place of perfect joy". Visit to the National Museum of Mongolian History. Visit the main square of the city, Sukhbaatar, with enormous bronze statues of Genghis Khan, his son Ogedei and his grandson Kubai. Evening folklore show. Dinner. Transfer to the airport, train station or hotel (possibly booked as an extension).
